All seniors are REQUIRED by the State of Illinois to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the ISBE FAFSA Non-Participation Form in order to graduate this May.

Beginning on October 1, 2025, Seniors will have two options to complete the FAFSA graduation requirement:

1) Fill out the ISBE FAFSA Non Participation Form if: a. you DO NOT plan to apply for Federal Student Aid or b. you DO NOT need a Student Loan or scholarships for college or c. you DO NOT plan to attend college in the fall

2) Fill out the FAFSA online at fafsa.gov if: a. you plan to apply for Federal Student Aid or b. you need a Student Loan or scholarships for college or c. you plan to attend college in the fall

You'll need the help of your family. Students and parents should gather their 2024 financial information, log on to fafsa.gov and complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.
