Stockton High School is accepting in-person visits with college representatives and military recruiters for the 2023-2024 school year.

College & Military Representative Visit Times: ~ Available Daily 8:15 am - 10:15 am & 12:45 pm - 2:30 pm ~ Representatives please call or email to schedule an appointment time.

FAFSA Completion Requirement for All 2023-2024 Seniors

All seniors are REQUIRED by the State of Illinois to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the ISBE FAFSA Non-Participation Form in order to graduate this May.

Beginning in December 2023 Seniors will have two options to complete the FAFSA graduation requirement:

1) Fill out the ISBE FAFSA Non Participation Form if: a. you DO NOT plan to apply for Federal Student Aid or b. you DO NOT need a Student Loan or scholarships for college or c. you DO NOT plan to attend college in the fall

2) Fill out the FAFSA online at fafsa.gov if: a. you plan to apply for Federal Student Aid or b. you need a Student Loan or scholarships for college or c. you plan to attend college in the fall

You'll need the help of your family. Students and parents should gather their 2022 financial information, log on to fafsa.gov and complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.

Mrs. Malone continues to be available to help students complete their FAFSA. Reach out via email & she will set up a meeting with students/parents who request FAFSA Completion help.

Selective Service Registration

Attention Male Students:

SELECTIVE SERVICE REGISTRATION is the law and you should register within 30 days of your 18th birthday. A valid social security number is required for online registration

You can register with Selective Service at: www.sss.gov

Selective Service registration is required by law as the first part of a fair and equitable system that, if authorized by the President and Congress, would rapidly provide personnel to the Department of Defense while at the same time providing for an Alternative Service Program for conscientious objectors. By registering, a young man remains eligible for jobs, state-based student aid in 31 states, Federally-funded job training, and U.S. citizenship for immigrant men.
