Duties: Stockton High School has a job opening for an Agriculture Education teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. This position includes teaching assignments in 9th-12th grades and one section of 7th grade.

Successful Candidate Qualifications: Current Illinois Professional Educator License with proper endorsement to teach Agriculture Education and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: utilizing different teaching methods to meet the instructional needs of individual students; developing lesson plans; communicating regularly with parents on student performance; developing classroom standards to maintain student discipline and behavior; and collaborating with the FFA alumni.

District Architect.
Stockton Community Unit School District #206 is accepting applications to serve as the District’s
architect. The District will accept applications and supporting detail, and the board of education will
interview selected architectural firms.

Qualifications and Job Description:
 Appropriate licensure certification for State of Illinois
 Experience working with school districts/governmental units
 Knowledge of data entry with the Illinois State Board of Education and related requirements,
and serve as a District liaison to the Illinois State Board of Education
 Develop, recommend, and execute plans for school facilities, including the preparation of
drawings, bid process, bid acceptance recommendations, and oversight of physical plant
projects designed by the architect
 Summarize scope of projects, provide cost estimates, and interpret regulatory requirements
 Assist the District with the execution of the 10 Year Health and Life Safety survey
 Provide advice to the District on limited scope projects that do not require specific architectural
design
 Coordinate with contractors, project managers, construction manager, conduct field
observations and appropriate meetings, and ensure work in progress and contractual
compliance
 Maintain records, drawings, and files for the District
 Advise the District on matters pertaining to the physical plant
Reports to Board of Education and Superintendent as representative of the Board of Education
